Voting in the Municipal Election continued in a number of communities across Ontario on Tuesday, as online voting glitches kept some voters from casting their ballots. Mike Manjuris, Chair of Global Management Studies at Ryerson University, says he's not a big proponent in online voting as it stands because it's being sold as more convenient, yet not many are taking advantage of the opportunity to vote early. Manjuris worries about security issues in using a pure form of on line voting, although he adds there may be a place for it in the future. Dominion Voting Systems, which provided online voting in municipalities across Ontario, says an unnamed Toronto internet provider placed limits on incoming voting traffic causing issues Monday.
