Vehicle Stolen In Pickering

Three young people are facing charges after a stolen vehicle was involved in a collision in Pickering. It happened on Friday night near the intersection of Kingston Rd. and Bainbridge Dr. Police say they were attempting to pull the vehicle over when the driver fled and went through a red light. Two girls and one boy were arrested; all of them are under 18 and cannot be identified under the Youth Criminal Justice Act. They face charges that include possession of a stolen vehicle. Eastbound Kingston Rd. was closed at Bainbridge Friday evening while police investigated the collision.
