Uxbridge Votes "Yes" To Private Cannabis Sales

Uxbridge has joined Oshawa, Ajax, Clarington, Brock, and Scugog Townships in allowing the future opening of cannabis shops. The decision does not mean stores are opening up anytime soon according to Uxbridge Township Mayor Dave Barton. The Mayor also says a number of considerations will be made in conjunction with smoking bylaws to determine where people will be allowed to light up.
