Uxbridge Culvert Update

Construction continues on the Downtown Uxbridge Culvert Project. Work is well underway to place pipes to divert the creek, and that will close Centennial Drive from 7am-5:30pm every day. Work is also underway to shore up the dig site. Ben Kester, the Director of Public Works for the Township of Uxbridge, says people will notice when pilings are being driven into the ground as support. Demolition work is underway inside the two buildings on Brock Street that are coming down. Outdoor demolition is expected to begin within a couple of weeks.
