Charges have been laid against Eddy Poulard, the 42-year old transport truck driver involved in Monday's rollover on Highway 401 near Thickson Road. All westbound lanes were closed throughout the day after Poulard's tractor trailer jackknifed and rolled over onto the median at around 5am. It took more than a day to clean up the truck's spilled contents, a petroleum byproduct that leaked onto the roadway. Poulard is charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle; he is scheduled to appear in court on April 4th in Oshawa.
