Temporary Stoplights Now Active

Work continues on the culvert project in downtown Uxbridge. Temporary stop lights are now operational at the intersection of Toronto Street and Main, and will remain in place until construction is done. Ben Kester, Director of Public Works for the Township of Uxbridge, says many residents won't see a lot of work because it's underground, including the work that has gone into designing the culverts to protect natural species. The Township has been working with the Ministry of Natural Resources to do the work that impacts the habitat.
