Telsa Rumoured To Be Considering Oshawa Plants

Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, created a stir over the weekend telling "60 Minutes" that Tesla could be interested in buying some of the plants GM is closing. Mike Manjuris, Chair of Global Management Studies at Ryerson University, isn't convinced the Oshawa Plant is included in that thought. Manjuris actually feels the statement was more a political move to put pressure on GM which plans to go head-to-head with Tesla in the electric car market. Majuris still isn't convinced that GM will completely shutter the production plants as it transitions to electric technologies. Manjuris appears every Tuesday morning around 8:30 on 105.5 HITS FM.
