Two teenagers have been charged in connection with a stabbing at a park in Bowmanville on Friday night. The suspects, a 17-year old and a 15-year old both from Clarington, cannot be identified as they are young offenders. The incident occurred just after 11pm, when a 20-year old man was found with serious stab wounds to his abdomen in the area of Longworth Av. and Swindell St. He was rushed to Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto and is now in stable condition. The teens fled the scene and were eventually found with the help of a police helicopter. They have been charged with aggravated assault and possession of dangerous weapons.
