Durham Regional Police have confirmed that a 40-year old taxi driver has been arrested, and faces one count of sexual assault following allegations from a passenger in his cab on July 14th. According to police, the driver was operating a wheelchair accessible vehicle when he picked up a woman in Ajax who asked to be dropped off in Oshawa. While in the rear of the vehicle, he allegedly touched the woman in an inappropriate manner. Police are asking any other possible victims to contact them.
