Suspect Wanted Following Apparent Road Rage Attack

Durham Regional Police are on the lookout for witnesses after a man was stabbed following an apparent road rage incident in Pickering on Wednesday. It happened at about 7:15pm on Notion Rd. The 58-year old victim said he was involved in a verbal altercation with an unknown suspect in the Wal Mart parking lot near Brock Rd. and left the area when the suspect followed him. At a red light the suspect got out of the vehicle, approached the man’s car, and stabbed him several times in the upper leg. The suspect fled the scene, and the victim was taken to a local hospital where he is being treated for serious but non-life threatening injuries. The man wanted in connection with the incident is black, short, and in his 20’s; his vehicle is a black Volvo S60. Investigators would like any witnesses who may have seen the altercation to come forward.
