Suspect Wanted After Alleged Indecent Act

Durham Regional Police are on the lookout for a suspect who was seen allegedly committing an indecent act in Pickering. A woman reported the sighting at about 2pm on Tuesday when walking along the waterfront trail with her children in the West Shore Blvd. and Beachpoint Promenade area. The suspect fled and was last seen running down the path; police searched the area but couldn't find him. He's described as black and in his early 40's, with a heavy build, clean shaven, and short hair, wearing a grey sleeveless shirt and black shorts. Anyone with information is asked to call West Division or CrimeStoppers.
