What's in a name? A lot to new home buyers, apparently. Maple Brook Homes, building a new development near Toronto Street and Cemetary Road, has sent a letter to council asking they consider renaming Cemetery Road after hearing from potential buyers. Ward 4 Councilor Willie Popp says there would be a number of considerations in making a move because it affects current residents and most of the development doesn't even front Cemetery Road. The letter requesting the name change has been passed on to staff for review. Council meets again next Monday.
