Shotgun Projectiles Strike Woman's Home

A 23-year old man from Oshawa is facing charges after a shotgun was fired inside his residence resulting in some of the projectiles striking his neighbour’s house. It happened on Sunday morning at approximately 2am. Members of Central East Division responded after the neighbour found what appeared to be a buckshot pellet on her bedroom floor. Investigators discovered that a shotgun had been discharged next door, and the projectiles traveled through several walls of his home before striking his neighbour’s home. A quantity of drugs were also seized in the residence following a search warrant, the firearm was not located. The woman did not suffer any injuries. 23-year old Alexander Woodcock faces numerous charges; he was held for a bail hearing.
