Two suspects are at large following a robbery in north Oshawa on Saturday afternoon. Durham Regional Police were called to the area of Simcoe Street North and Windfields Farm Drive just before 3:30pm, when a male victim and his female friend were allegedly approached by two armed men who demanded they hand over a designer bag and cell phone, then fired a shot from what police believe was an imitation firearm, before driving away in a four-door, mid-size silver car. The victims were not injured. The first suspect is described as black, clean-shaven, between 18 and 24-years old, and between five-foot-nine and six feet tall with short, black hair; he was wearing a gray, hooded sweater. The second suspect is believed to be white, 18-24 years old, five-foot-nine to six feet tall with short brown hair and scruffy facial hair; he had a blue hooded sweater. Anyone with information is asked to call the Central West Division Criminal Investigation Bureau.
