Police Looking For Stolen Jewelry

Durham Regional Police are investigating a case involving the theft of jewelry from a senior citizen who was allegedly mugged while walking on a bike path in Oshawa. The 74-year old victim was walking on a trail near Hillcroft St. at around 9am on September 21st; police say he was then assaulted and robbed by a man who fled on foot. He's described as white, in his late 20's, about six feet tall, with a slim build and facial hair. The items stolen were of sentimental value to the victim, and investigators have released images.
