Planned Water Shut-Off In Uxbridge

It appears Brock Street in downtown Uxbridge will be closed October 22nd as part of the Culvert replacement project. Barring any delays in construction already underway the plan is to close Brock Street between Toronto Street and Bascom for several days to cap off the water main to allow for future digging on the project. Ben Kester, Director of the Public Works Department at the Township of Uxbridge, says the work is planned to minimize disruptions for residents. Residents affected by the water shut-off will receive notices from the Region. Centennial Drive will remain open when work closes Brock Street.

Don't forget to tune in to the Morning Den each Tuesday at 8:12 or the latest culvert updates.
