Pickering Crash Involves Two Impaired Drives

Two impaired drivers were charged after colliding with each other in Pickering on Sunday morning. The crash happened in the eastbound 401 collector lanes before Whites Rd. at about 4am. The drivers of the vehicles, a 26-year old man from Ajax and a 73-year old man also from Ajax, had their vehicles impounded for seven days. A total of 26 impaired driving charges have been laid by Durham Regional Police during the first two weeks of their annual Festive Ride Program.
