Pickering Bandit At Large

Durham Regional Police are asking the public for help after a gas station in Pickering was robbed at gunpoint over the weekend. It happened at the Global gas station on Kingston Rd. near Fairpoint Rd. just before 9:30 Friday night. Authorities say the suspect had a handgun and his face was covered. He made off with an undisclosed amount of cash. The police AIR1 helicopter and K-9 Unit were called to the scene but no arrests were made. Anyone with information is asked to come forward.
