A 17-year old boy is suffering life-threatening injuries after being struck by a vehicle in Oshawa. Durham Regional Police say it happened late Friday evening when the teenager was walking with two other male pedestrians eastbound on Conlin Rd. near Thornton Rd. Emergency Services transported the boy to a Toronto-area trauma centre. Authorities say lighting and weather conditions were not favourable at the time. The driver and other two pedestrians were not injured. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Traffic Services Branch.
