Oshawa Man Identified As Shooting Victim

The man gunned down while behind the wheel of a vehicle in Etobicoke on Wednesday evening last week has been identified. 29-year old Jonathan Gayle-West was pronounced dead after police found him with gunshot wounds in a crashed car. The victim was an aspiring sportscaster who had worked as a member of the production teams for SportsNet 360 and SportsCenter. Several of his colleagues took time during their broadcasts to pay tribute and express their condolences. Police have not made any arrests in connection with his death.
