New Deputy Chiefs Sworn In

Two new Deputy Chiefs have been sworn in by Durham Regional Police Services. Todd Rollauer and Dean Bertrim took the oath at a ceremony at the Region of Durham Headquarters in Whitby. Rollauer started as a cadet with the service in 1987; his father was an officer for 36 years. Bertrim has been with the Durham police force for nearly 30 years. It was only the second time in the service's 44-year history that two Deputy Police Chiefs have been sworn in on the same day.
