A 44-year old man has been arrested in connection with the discovery of the body of a woman from Whitby found near the shores of Lake Ontario. Jeffrey Weldon is facing murder charges after investigators determined the case to be a homicide. According to police the suspect and the victim were involved in a relationship. Weldon has been charged with second-degree murder and improper or indecent interference with a dead body. The charges against him have not been proven; anyone with information is asked to contact police or CrimeStoppers.
