Mother Of Abandoned Baby Located

In Georgina, police say they have made contact with the mother who left her newborn outside a fire hall near Sutton earlier this month. The boy was found just before 3am on May 14th when crews returned from a medical call and heard the baby crying. The boy was wrapped in a blanket and left near the back door of the building; investigators say they believe the baby was outside for no more than 30 minutes. He has since been turned over to the care of the Children's Aid Society. The mother is safe and in good health and will not be charged.
