Memorial Service To Be Held For Bowmanville Mother

Family, friends, and other mourners will gather tomorrow to honour Alicia Kaas, the 26-year old woman who died in a tragic industrial accident last week. Kaas worked for Pontil Drilling in Vaughan. The Ministry of Labour is currently investigating the incident. She leaves behind a fiancee and two children aged 7 and 4. A Go Fund Me page has been set up for the grieving family. Tomorrow's service will be held at 2pm at Liberty Church on Bowmanville Av. at King St. W. In lieu of flowers, donations are being sought for an RESP for her children's future education.
