A 28-year old victim of a stabbing early yesterday morning was taken to hospital. The incident occurred outside a bar on Simcoe St. S. near First Av. just after 1:30am. According to police there was a confrontation inside the building that eventually ended up outside near the street, and the victim was stabbed in the abdomen. His injuries are non-life threatening; the suspect fled the scene.
