Man Charged After Attack Leads To Death Of Dog

In Oshawa, a man has been found guilty of inflicting injuries that led to the death of his roommates dog in June of 2018, after a day-and-a-half of evidence and testimony this week in court. A critical care veterinarian testified that the dog sustained multiple actions of significant force. The suspect was alone at the time, and there were no witnesses to the incident. In his ruling, the judge found that multiple incidents of trauma inflicted by the defendant caused the dog's injury.
