Durham Regional Police and the RCMP executed multiple search warrants early this week, and seized approximately $875,000 in cash, cars, and drugs as part of a GTA-wide drug investigation. Toronto Police Service and Peel Regional Police Service also assisted in the project focusing on drug trafficking in Durham Region and the GTA. Nine people were arrested and face a total of 60 charges. The seizure included six vehicles, a firearm, cash, cocaine, and fentanyl, with a combined value of approximately $2 million. Police say a list of the suspects and charges will be released shortly.
