The threat of a mail strike may be slowing mail-in ballot returns for the upcoming municipal election in Uxbridge. Debbie Leroux, Director of Legislative Services for the Township of Uxbridge, says returns are down slightly from the same point in the last municipal election. Residents should not be worried about dropping ballots off at the Township offices before Oct 22nd because your choices remain secret until the votes are tallied election day. The deadline to put the ballots in the mail has passed but you can drop them off anytime at the Township offices or in front of the Township offices at the special mailbox.
