Serious Crash Claims Man's life

More details have been released following yesterday's early-morning crash that claimed the life of a man in Oshawa. The victim, a 24-year old man, was killed after a serious collision at Thornton and Taunton Roads at about 2am. According to police, the out-of-country student succumbed to his injuries shortly after officers attempted to perform CPR. The second driver, a 36-year old man from Oshawa, faces impaired driving charges; he was treated in hospital then released. The intersection reopened at about 1:30 yesterday afternoon after a full collision reconstruction.
