Durham Regional Police have confirmed the human remains found last month near Oshawa Creek are those of Kevin Zapp, a man from Oshawa who had been missing for a year. The news came following a post-mortem examination. Zapp had been reported missing by his family in April of last year; he was last seen at an apartment complex on Nonquon Rd. in Oshawa. Investigators say there is no evidence of foul play, and the cause of his death has not been determined. Anyone with information is asked to call Durham Regional Police Services or CrimeStoppers.
