Durham Regional Police have confirmed human remains were found by a fisherman near Oshawa Creek over the weekend. The discovery was made after 1pm on Saturday in the area of Taunton Rd. and Northbrook St. in a heavily wooded area. Forensic investigators were called to gather information about the victim, and a post-mortem examination will be conducted. Anyone with information is asked to call police or CrimeStoppers.
