Police are looking for a driver after a hit-and-run in Bowmanville left one woman critically injured. She was struck by a southbound sedan while crossing Simpson Av. south of King St. E. at around 5:30pm on November 26th. The driver got out of his car but left the scene soon after. He's described as white, in his mid-60's, about 5-foot-9 with a light build, and was wearing a light-coloured jacket and gold-framed glasses. Anyone with information is asked to call Durham Regional CrimeStoppers.
