Durham Regional Police say five people are facing charges after a man and a woman were allegedly held against their will in Oshawa last week. Officers responded to an armed persons call at a home on Toronto St. Wednesday at about 5pm and were able to get inside with assistance from the Tactical Support and K-9 units. Four suspects fled the scene and were found by police driving the wrong direction on the 401 in Whitby at around 1am. One female victim suffered minor injuries; anyone with information is asked to contact the Central East Division Criminal Investigations Bureau.
