Firefighters Raising Funds For Parkette and Statue

This Saturday, the Uxbridge Firefighters Association is holding its annual "Car Wash" at the Uxbridge Fire Hall. This year, proceeds are going toward a special project to build a parkette and statue in front of the hall to honor those who have served. Fire Captain Colin Clarke says this project has special meaning for so many because firefighters will be remembered on the statue. The car wash is by donation and is open at the Fire Hall from 10am to 2pm Saturday.
