Drug Bust In Oshawa

A 71-year old man from Lindsay faces charges after police began an investigation involving suspicions of alleged drug dealing. Durham Regional Police claim he was driving around Oshawa on Friday making several stops and carrying out drug transactions. He was arrested near Elgin Street where numerous opioids, drug paraphernalia, and a large amount of cash were seized. Odel Dignard was charged with six counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking; the charges against him have not been proven.
