Culvert Update

For the first time since the culvert project began a portion of Brock St. in Uxbridge has been closed off to all but local traffic. Until Thursday from 7am-7pm Brock St. West in Uxbridge will be closed from Toronto St. to Main St. to cap off a water-main. Businesses are open and parking is still available in the downtown core. Township of Uxbridge Mayor Dave Barton says the purchase of the land adjacent to the project should mean fewer disruptions because they won't have to pour as much concrete. The mayor says at all times downtown Uxbridge businesses will be accessible during the project.
