Construction on the downtown culvert project in Uxbridge is back underway. In the downtime a few efficiencies have been found. Among them, the ability to use more precast concrete for the tunnel, which will help them save time. Councillor Willie Pop says the use of precast concrete means there will be less time spent with a huge hole in the downtown core. Work has also begun on the interior demolition of the two buildings that are slated for demolition as part of the project.
