Culvert Project Clears Hurdle

The Uxbridge Culvert project is moving ahead. The Township of Uxbridge completed a purchase of a piece of property adjacent to the culvert for $3 million on Friday. Mayor Dave Barton says that means construction can resume. He says the new council's hands were tied when they could not get an easement on the property where Coffee Time and Circle K are tenants. The Township says it is working with construction crews to build a new timeline for resuming the project and completing it.
