Work continues at the site of the abandoned First Leaside building at Brock Street West and Victoria Drive in Uxbridge. Township of Uxbridge Mayor Dave Barton says at ground level it may not seem like much is going on but within the foundation structure and behind the fences crews continue to prepare for a new building. The Mayor says the current owners of the site are willing to work with the Township on a number of things and that may include the look of the building. Construction on the building was stopped by First Leaside in 2012.
