Police are looking for witnesses following a two-car crash that involved a Durham Regional police car on Saturday night in Pickering. The collision happened at about 10:45pm at Brock and Kingston Roads. Officers were responding to an impaired driving call when the cruiser with it's lights activated collided with a northbound Honda Civic while attempting to cross the intersection eastbound. A 43-year old passenger in the Honda was treated in hospital for minor injuries; the driver and the police officer were not hurt. No charges have been laid but the investigation continues; any witnesses are asked to call police.
