Friday marches around the world will be held as part of a "Climate Strike." Major cities in Canada like Toronto and Montreal will hold marches, and some smaller communities also plan rallies. In Uxbridge, two marches are planned to leave the Second Wedge Brewery and the high school at 11:30am. Suzanne Crone says the march from Victoria Street includes farmers from the local farmer's market. She says the farmers have seen first hand the effects of climate change, something everyone should pay attention to. The two marches plan to meet outside the Township of Uxbridge offices at noon where a rally will be held.
