Uxbridge Township Ward 2 Councilor Gary Ruona has been busy since taking office in December. Ruona says he is reviewing Regional services that Uxbridge Township is taxed on and looking to see if Uxbridge is getting its bang for the buck. After knocking on doors and hearing about rising regional taxes Ruona says he'd like to know if there are services that could be provided by partnering up with the other two northern Townships. Mayor Dave Barton says its not bad to review current systems, adding that he has already met with the Chief of Police to talk about greater presence in the area.
