Durham Regional Police say a child in Ajax was taken to hospital after falling from his bike onto a road Wednesday at about 5:30pm near Hickman and Michaelman roads south of Bayly St. E. The bicycle was struck by a vehicle after the boy fell off and it veered into traffic. Police believe the fall may have been caused by a medical episode.
