Durham Regional Police have released surveillance camera images of two men who are suspects in an incident where bank cards were allegedly stolen from a woman’s vehicle in Whitby earlier this year. It happened on January 5th on Gilbert St. when her car was broken into during the overnight hours. Her wallet, which contained bank and credit cards, were among the items stolen. The suspects were caught on camera using the cards at a gas station and convenience store on Brock St. The first suspect is described as white, wearing a ball cap, dark-hooded jacket, and jeans; the other man was also white, and had long wavy hair and facial hair, and wore a dark jacket and ball cap with a “Legend” logo. Police are asking anyone with information to contact CrimeStoppers.
