Alleged Assault Suspect Wanted

Durham Regional Police are asking the public for help identifying a man who allegedly assaulted a woman outside of a pub in February. It happened in the early morning hours of Saturday February 16th at the Hop’s House Pub and Grill on Green Street. Authorities say the victim was struck while trying to stop an altercation among a large group of people. She suffered minor injuries as a result. The suspect is described as white with a large build and close-cropped hair; he was wearing jeans, a black sweater and black shoes at the time. Anyone with information is asked to call CrimeStoppers.
