Ajax Man Dead After Shooting In Toronto

Police have identified a man from Ajax as the victim of Sunday's fatal shooting in Toronto's West Hill neighbourhood. 23-year old Cardinal Licorish was gunned down at an apartment building in the area of Kingston Rd. and Lawrence Av. early Sunday afternoon. Police say he was found in a stairwell suffering from gunshot wounds. He succumbed to his injuries and was found dead at the scene. Police are asking anyone with information to contact investigators. It was Toronto's 90th homicide of the year, breaking 1991's record of 89 murders.
