Bakersville Animated Gingerbread Village

 Bakersville Animated Gingerbread Village at the  PortPerry  Library!  If you are looking for something festive to do this holiday season, make  sure that you visit the Kent Farndale Gallery inside the Scugog  Memorial Public Library. For over 20 years, a committee of dedicated  volunteers have put together a magical animated gingerbread village that  includes a ski hill, moving train, lots of skating rinks and even the  Port Perry water tower. Members of the community supply gingerbread  creations for the village a week prior to opening, and then once  assembled with figurines, snow and greenery, the village comes alive! .   The Bakersville Animated Gingerbread Village opens on Dec. 7th and runs  right through to Dec. 31st, during library operating hours and  admission is free. We had a record breaking 80 entries last year, so  make sure the village is part of your holiday season plans! The library  is located near the base of Queen Street in Port Perry at 231 Water  Street.
