Drug Bust In Oshawa

Durham Regional Police have revealed that approximately $170,000 in drugs were seized along with a firearm after two apartments in Oshawa were raided over the weekend. Saturday afternoon at about 4:30pm police responded to a domestic violence call in the area of Bloor St. W. and Wilson Rd. S. Search warrants were executed with assistance from the gang and gun unit and the tactical support unit. Along with a non-restricted firearm, drugs were seized including ectasy, marijuana, mushrooms, oxycocet, ritalin, xanax, and cocaine. A 42-year old man and a 27-year old man were charged; both suspects are being held for a bail hearing. None of the allegations against the men have been proven in court.
