It's been a rough time for the stock market over recent days. Mike Manjuris, Chair of Global Management Studies at Ryerson University, is a regular contributor to the Morning Den on 105.5 Hits FM. He says inflation concerns are making the markets shaky. One area where prices are expected to drop is the housing market. Interest rates are expected to jump up at least twice this year in Canada, and he says Uxbridge will likely follow Toronto's lead in a further softening on housing prices. Manjuris says a key inflationary concern is the price of gas. It went up 19% in November and 12% in December. He says energy prices ultimately affect everything.
