A big honour was bestowed on Uxbridge teen Josh Morrison on Wednesday. The 16-year old was named by the Association of Fundraising Professionals as the winner of the "Outstanding Youth in Philanthropy Award." The grade 11 Uxbridge Secondary School student had a goal to raise $100,000 to build a house for Habitat For Humanity, which he surpassed by more than $24,000. Josh says he started fundraising when he was eleven, but wasn't actually able to volunteer on-site for a Habitat build until this year when he turned 16.
